There is a quote that says,
"He isn't my boyfriend but I love his hugs, his smile, his advice, his kindness and the times we laugh together, I guess I fell in love with our friendship."
While this takes a completely different note from my previous blog, it's something i have to say. That quote speaks to me in every way possible, how is it that your bestie is the one your most likely to fall for.? Is it true that the BEST relationships are built on friendship or is that just a bigger risk to take if things don't pan out.? Or is it possible to just settle with being in love with the friendship and let the friend find a love of their own.?
I've been debating these questions for 3 years. Yea, I've still been living my life one lousy guy after another and with every disappointment he has been there to catch me, and I've done the same for him. I believe that if you truly care about someone, then aside from your feelings you'll do everything in your power to make sure their best interest is met. Because at the end of the day all you really want is to see them smile and for them to know they can depend on you.
